Following its continued business success Access Accounting has launched a campaign to search for outstanding talent to help drive its ambitious growth plans. The largest independent business and accounting software house in the UK is inviting high-flyers to a recruitment event on Tuesday 27th November at the Holiday Inn, Ransomes Europark in Ipswich from 6.30-8pm and 8-9.30pm.
The award-winning company based in Stratford St Mary, between Ipswich and Colchester, has a number of opportunities across nearly all areas of the business. In addition to filling specific positions, it is also seeking high-calibre individuals to help support future business expansion. This includes individuals looking to avoid the daily commute into London, opting for a city career in rural surroundings.
John Beech, managing director for Access Accounting, commented, “The business is expanding rapidly with growing software sales and the development of new and innovative software solutions. We’re always looking for highly talented individuals to get involved in the business – especially people that have ambition and enthusiasm, that are looking for a challenge and would like to play a part in our future success.”
The event will offer individuals the chance to find out more about Access Accounting, the current positions available and to discuss future opportunities. Alistair O’Reilly, the founder of the business and now Group MD for the parent company, Access Technology Group and John Beech, the current MD of Access Accounting, will be providing an insight into the organisation.
One of the company’s many successes, Jon Jorgensen, will be telling his own story of how he rose from telesales to managing director of one of Access Accounting’s sister companies. At the age of 28, he is the youngest MD across the Group. Representatives from different areas of the company will also be on hand to discuss specific opportunities in more detail.
Helen Carpenter, head of group pr for Access Accounting, said, “I used to work in the city and although the job was fantastic, the commute was certainly not. I didn’t expect to find the type of role I was looking for outside of London, so when I came across Access Accounting it was a very pleasant surprise. There isn’t a day that goes past where I don’t learn something new and it’s always challenging with plenty of room for personal growth. There’s also the opportunity to get directly involved in the business and really make a difference, which is immensely rewarding.”
Access Accounting, which currently has 117 staff, has achieved many successes since it began in 1991. Most recently it reported a 15 per cent increase in turnover to £9.1m, and a rise of 78 per cent in profit before tax to £1.7m. Earlier this year, it won two leading industry awards, voted for by customers and was first to market with a number of additions to the software range. The company also has a best place to work initiative in place, providing a commitment to continuous improvement in the workplace environment and staff development.
The Stratford St Mary site is also home to the parent company, Access Technology Group, with its new and expanding mergers and acquisitions team aiming to acquire on average two new businesses each year.
If you would like to be involved in our future business success, please register your attendance at www.access-accounts.com/recruit or contact the executive assistant to the MD, Pippa Drew, on 0845 3453300.
Regular visitors to this company's website will realise that O'Reilly and Beech each possess quite a knack for developing individual and team talent. If they were into football rather than software, they'd probably be the only guys since 1966 with a team able to win the World Cup!
